SO HOW DOES A STAY-AT- HOME MOM GO FROM THE KITCHEN TO THE WHITE HOUSE & DEVELOP A PASSION FOR THE PEOPLE?

A nationally recognized award-winning health & lifestyle advocate, CC Minton is a lifestyle empowerment strategist, author, and real estate pro.  She is Managing Principal at CC Minton.com and Founder of The Lifestyle Empowerment Group.

A recipient of the President's Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition Leadership award, CC empowers the community to embrace and approach life with passion and purpose.  Her grassroots journey began in the kitchen of her home and took her all the way to the most prominent address - The White House.  The journey is where she honed her skills to influence and empower the lifestyles of the people.

CC gave voice to her experiences becoming Health and Lifestyle Editor at Harlem World Magazine where she elevated the conversation about health, fitness, and lifestyle curating content for Up Close with CC Minton.  Conversations with high-profile notables include personal interviews with Judge "Greg" Mathis,  Forbes Top Teen Entrepreneur Mikaila Ulmer, 2016 Olympic hurdler Kristin Castlin and International Chef Marcus Samuelsson just to name a few.  She has covered NYC charity events whose guests included B-Smith, Stephen Burrows, Cicely Tyson, Common, Nick Cannon, and Alicia Keys.  CC's charismatic personality has earned her spots on Daytime Emmy Award The Chew, Dr. Oz Show, and Anderson Live.

Her love for the community is at the center of what she does as a humanitarian and is home to where she finds her passion for the people.  CC took the lead as Chairperson for the Junior League's Health and Nutrition Initiative, served on the Board of Governance, Co-Chaired A Spring Affair House Tour & Boutique, and is a former member of the West Orange Board of Education Wellness Council.  Participating as a guest panelist at the Jack and Jill of America Childhood Obesity Forum and hosting a Walk and Talk event with the YMCA had an impact on the community at large.

A community leader that added an entrepreneurial focus to her work, CC tackled big business as a New York/New Jersey NFL Super Bowl XLVIII business connect partner.  In 2013, CC combined story-telling with a family recipe and wrote Daddy's Greek Potato Pie (a book about healthy eating and was selected as a Best Kids Book author.  She has appeared as a guest author at Whole Foods Market, The Apollo Theater Healthy Soul Festival, schools, libraries, and private events.

Over the years, CC has sought out and bought a number of family homes and investment properties.  In 2017, she stepped out on her own and expanded her portfolio experience.  Now a licensed real estate pro, she is restoring an 1846 historic home to its' original grandeur.  After establishing roots as an investor in the hot Dallas and Paris markets, she is in search of an international project.
